Attention juniors! Mt. SAC is hosting a Juniors Day on October 27th. This is an excellent opportunity for juniors to learn about the various academic and student services programs offered at Mt. SAC. The focus will be on the honors program, how to transfer, and career and technical education programs. The workshops will be informative but also very hands-on. If you would like to attend this wonderful opportunity please see Mrs. Romero in the Career Center for a permission slip. Only 45 juniors will be able to attend this event.

UC and CSU Application Workshops will take place on Thursday, October 19th.  We will offer both workshops on the same night, but you will be able to attend both as each presenter will hold two seesions. The first presentation will begin at 6:00pm and the second will begin at 7:30pm. The CSU workshop will be held in the Golden Horsehoe and the UC workshop will be held in the Theater. Parents and students are welcomed to attend both or only stay for one. This is a great opportunity to hear from a representative from each system and ask questions about the application process.

The Financial Aid Workshop will take place on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24th in the DBHS Theater at 6:00pm. This informative evening will help you understand how the financial aid process works, including filling out the FAFSA. We recommend parents and students attend this workshop.  This one evening will answer most of your financial aid questions, and it’s free!

Free workshop for the Common Application and UC Essays- Mt. Sac is offering a FREE Writing Workshop to help high school students prepare for the Common App/UC writing prompts. There will be 6 sessions total held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 26th- October 12th. Call Mt. Sac at 909-274-4937 to reserve a spot.
