Summer School Info Available

Diamond Bar High Summer School 2017 information is now posted on the DBHS website under “Summer School.”  DBHS Summer School will run from June 5th through July 13th, Monday-Thursday, 7:30 am – 1:00 pm.  For full information, including tentative course offerings and online registration dates and processes, please refer to our website. – (CLICK HERE)

Online registration for non-tuition classes will take place from February 22 – March 7.

Online registration for tuition courses will take place from March 6 - 17.

Summer School administrators will hold information meetings at the middle schools on Tuesday, February 21st during the following times:

South Pointe – During lunch in the MPR (11:09am- 11:45am)

Chaparral MS – After School in the MPR (2:00pm – 2:45pm)

The online registration window for free summer school classes closes at 4:00 pm Tuesday, March 7th.  If you want a chance of getting a free summer school class, go to the DBHS website immediately and register online.  This is your last chance to register for a non-tuition Diamond Bar High Summer School class.

Applying for a class is no guarantee that you will get the class, and there is no advantage to applying early. Seats will be granted according to grade level, current juniors first, then by lottery if there are more applicants than seats. DBHS students, then WVUSD students have priority over students from outside the district.

Class rosters will appear as attachments on the summer school non-tuition page by 8:00 pm on Friday, 3/10/17.  If your name is not on the roster, you are not in the class.  For those whose names do appear on a roster, you must go to the Golden Horseshoe on the DBHS campus at lunch on Tuesday, 3/14/17 to complete paperwork (3:30-4:30 for students who do not currently attend DBHS) or you may lose your seat in class.

Students making up a D or F in English I, II, III, World History, or US History are signed up through their GLC.  If you have not signed up with your GLC to make up a D or F in one of those classes, it is your responsibility to see your GLC as soon as possible.

Students still interested in pursuing summer school classes should apply for a tuition class via the link to Dedicated2Learning on the main summer school page.
