March 8 & 9, our Varsity Boys Golf Team took on the Glendora Tartans in a showdown for the league title in Boys Golf.
Diamond Bar High and Glendora High have been traditional powers in golf for the past 20 years.
The intense rivalry was still in the air.
Diamond Bar won the first day on their home course 204 -209 behind the great rounds of sophomore Bryan Chiu 39 and Freshman Ethan Thomas 39.
Diamond Bar went to the tough Glendora Country Club, where we they not won in over 14 years, and pulled out the upset to take control of the league race.
Diamond Bar 204 - Glendora 208! Byran Chiu shot a career round, one under 35 to lead the Brahmas.
Freshman Leo Lu also had a career round, one over 37.
Boys Varsity Golf is off to a 4-0 start in Palomares League play with Bonita looming around the corner. Go Brahmas!
