Brahmas Swim To CIF Individual Championships

Kelsey Lloyd and David Wang are CIF Swimming Champions!

Congratulations to Juniors Kelsey Lloyd and David Wang, who are the CIF Southern Section Division 2 champions of the Women 100 breaststroke and Men 500 freestyle, respectively. Lloyd, the defending CIF 100 breaststroke champion, broke her own school record in the Finals with a time of 1:02.21 to defend her title. Wang, the reigning Palomares League MVP, broke his own 500 freestyle school record during the prelims on Friday to earn the top spot and successfully won the event in the Finals on Saturday!

Because of their fast swimming and record breaking performances, our Girls Team ended up in 8th place while our Boys Team brought home an overall 4th place finish, our best CIF finish in school history!
