II: Non-Tuition Courses for Advancement or Remediation for Graduation/CSU/UC

These classes are free and offered for students looking to advance, get a class out of the way, or make-up a D or an F for CSU/UC.  These classes are funded by Mt. SAC, which is why we require a social security number during registration, but they take place on the DBHS campus.

THE REGISTRATION WINDOW IS NOW CLOSED.
Rosters for all classes are posted in the one document at the bottom of this page - updated as of 4/17/17.

If your name is on a roster, you MUST sign paperwork at the Golden Horseshoe on the DBHS campus on
Tuesday, 3/14/17, either at lunch or 3:00-4:00.
Failure to do so will result in being removed from the class.

Please understand there will be almost 1,000 registrations for these classes
so many people unfortunately will not get a seat.  Students were selected randomly.  Students who applied but did not get the class are automatically on a waiting list, and if there is an opening, seats will be granted randomly ASAP.

Summer School 2017 - Monday June 5 – Thursday, July 13, 2017 (7:30am - 1:00pm)

1st semester:  Weeks 1-3, June 5 - June 22

2nd semester:  Weeks 4-6, June 26 - July 13

(Please note, the Fourth of July holiday on Tuesday, 7/4 means Week 5 will have school on Monday, then Wednesday-Friday)

**ICT/health and civics/economics:  While these are semester courses, students will be required to attend summer school for all six weeks, taking one course in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Please Note: If a pre-registered student does not show up on Day 1, he/she will be dropped after the first thirty minutes of class have passed to make room for students seeking to add the class.

Please bring your ID on the first day of school in order to check out books for class.

Students who aren’t placed in a class and are still looking for a summer school class may go to the DBHS theater at 7:30 am on the first day of summer school, Monday, June 5th.  Available seats will be filled at that time according to the following criteria, in the following order:
Students who previously had the course and earned a "D" or "F"

Class of 2018
Class of 2019
Class of 2020
