Welcome to the Diamond Bar High School Summer School information page.

 

General Information for the 2017 Summer School session will be posted on this page in early February.  Please check back at that time for details.  Customer service representatives will be available to answer questions regarding the summer school program beginning February 13th.  

 

Summer School 2017 - Monday June 5 – Thursday, July 13, 2017 (7:30am - 1:00pm)

1st semester:  Weeks 1-3, June 5 - June 22

2nd semester:  Weeks 4-6, June 26 - July 13

**ICT/health and civics/economics:  While these are semester courses, students will be required to attend summer school for all six weeks, taking one course in the morning and one in the afternoon.

 

Please Note: If a pre-registered student does not show up on Day 1, he/she will be dropped after the first thirty minutes of class have passed to make room for students seeking to add the class.

 

Please bring your ID on the first day of school in order to check out books for class.

 

 

There are three summer school programs offered at DBHS each year:

 

I:  Non-Tuition (free) - Remediation of D's or F's for Graduation/CSU/UC or Enrichment

Students are signed up only through GLC, ELD coordinator, or special ed case carrier.

Courses offered

US History     English I/II/III     ELD I/II     Sheltered English     World History    

Bridge              Algebra I

 Class rosters of enrolled students will be posted as of 8:00 pm on 2/22/17.

II:  Non-Tuition (free) - Advancement or Remediation for Graduation/CSU/UC

Students must apply online between 2/22/17 - 3/7/17, beginning at 5:00 pm.

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED AND WILL OPEN 2/22/17.

** There is no advantage to applying early. Seats will be granted according to grade level, current juniors first, then by lottery if there are more applicants than seats. DBHS students, then WVUSD students have priority over students from outside the district.**

III. Dedicted to Learning Summer Program (Tuition) - Advancement or Remediation

This tuition-based program is run by an independent company on the DBHS campus.  Some D2L information is listed here as a courtesy, but D2L has no affiliation with DBHS or WVUSD.

Students must apply online via a link to Dedicated2Learning between XXXXX.
