The Diamond Bar Pep Squad is a highly energized, spirited group of students who support our Athletic Department, Campus Activities, and a variety of organizations in our community in an attempt to promote school spirit among our students and faculty. Our members are held to the highest standards of conduct, academic performance and community service. Our priority is to develop well rounded, respectable, and responsible young women. Our hope is to mold positive, active community members for life.
Competitive song and cheer is recognized as a sport that allows athletes to utilize their critical thinking skills while promoting avenues to express athletic abilities and talent. This sport also teaches them how to be a strong team player, a lesson that is useful in many areas of life, especially the workforce.
As a team player, the Diamond Bar High School Pep members understand what it means to strive for common goals, work as a team, take risks, and support others’ efforts. These work ethics will better prepare them for leadership opportunities in the work force and their post secondary goals.
We currently offer 4 teams in the program: JV Cheer, JV Song, Varsity Cheer and Varsity Song. During the competition season, our Cheer teams will compete Intermediate and the Song teams will compete Advanced.
