Description from our chapter:

Mu Alpha Theta (also known as the National Math Honor Society) is a collection of mathematically talented students of Diamond Bar High School.  The club consists of people who have one thing in common:  a passion for math.  Members do not need to study beyond the classroom but rather utilize what they already know to find the solution, and the activities help develop their minds to their maximum potential.  In the process, members are invited to participate in competitions.  The math team travels to other universities adn events to compete against other schools and teams.  The team takes rigorous exams that require intense and clever thinking in order to solve the thought-provoking questions.  As a result, the club has brought recognition and honors to the school for excellent participation and scores.  Mu Alpha Theta is definitely the ideal club for those who enjoy math as more than a school course.
