With the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) assessments right around the corner, Diamond Bar High School would like to invite you to join us for a parent information night on Wednesday March 21st at 7:00 p.m. in the the Golden Horseshoe (ROOM 501). This is a change of location. Our 11th grade students will participate in the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) which encompasses English Language Arts and Mathematics. The information night will cover the aspects of state testing, how your student’s score impacts your student, how to support your student with the upcoming assessments, and how the assessment impacts our school’s state and national rankings.
A separate informative letter detailing CAASPP/SBAC will be sent to our parents/guardians in the near future. The SBAC assessments will be administered to our students the week of April 9-April 13.
The information night will be led by Principal Reuben Jones and Instructional Dean Matthew Brummett.
