Seniors with Perfect Attendance... If you have not missed any “full” days of school during your four years here at DBHS and would like to be recognized for this achievement during our All School Awards Night, please turn your name into Mrs. McCurry, in the Guidance Office by Tuesday, April 23, 2019. (McCurry)

Seniors... Do you need help with English, Economics and/or Civics? Beginning April 8 we will have after school tutoring. On Mondays and Wednesdays go to Room 504 for Econ or Civics tutoring, on Tuesdays and Thursdays go to Room 312 for English tutoring. To participate, seniors should go directly to the class at 3 pm. (McCurry)

Senior Student Athletes... If you have registered with the NCAA Eligibilty Center this message is for you! After April 1st, you must log in to your NCAA Eligibility Center file and finalize the NCAA Amateurism Certification Process. You should have already completed this questionnaire; now you are confirming your responses and signing the final documents. You will not be certified as an eligible NCAA Division I or II student athlete until this process is completed after April 1, 2019. (Patterson)

NCAA ELIGIBILITY CENTER-SENIORS... Senior Student Athletes-If you plan on participating in college-level athletics at the NCAA Division I or II levels, you must be certified as an eligible athlete by the NCAA ELIGIBILITY CENTER. Register online at www.eligibilitycenter.org. Mr. Patterson, GLC, will be notified by the Eligibility Center once you have registered. At that time, your transcript will be sent to the Eligibility Center by Mr. Patterson. Only students in the Class of 2019 should register at this time. (Patterson)

Hey Seniors,

Check this out:

1. Sending Official Transcripts after Graduation: During the English Class visits, we discussed how to send official transcripts to the college. You can go onto parchment.com and create an account if you don’t already have one. If you have already used parchment to send a transcript please be sure to create a New Order. If you don’t have an account, see the attachment to create an account. Make sure to select “HOLD FOR GRADES” when you order so that the transcript is sent AFTER your 2nd semester grades post. All colleges, Community Colleges and Universities, need your transcript. Our suggestion is to request transcripts after you commit officially to your college. Remember to “Hold for Grades.”

*Note: Your final transcript will also serve as your proof of graduation

2. SENIOR TUTORING: If you are struggling in English, Civics, or Economics, we have FREE tutoring with a teacher Monday - Thursday from 3-4 p.m. Please see the attachment or your GLC for more information.

3. Thursday, you received an email with the Senior meeting presentation ALONG with the Senior Brochure that breaks down all the Graduation Senior Activities, Dates, and Times. Make sure to take a look at it so you don’t miss out on anything .
