A message from Mt. Sac
The first attachment (BELOW) is a Summer Programs Virtual Office Hours. Starting in the month of May (Tuesdays from 11 am-1 pm and Thursdays from 2 pm-4 pm), the High School Outreach (HSO), STEP, Summer Bridge, and Promise +Plus programs representatives will be available to answer any questions about enrollment, registration, and summer session. We are trying to provide as many opportunities for students (via different platforms) to ask questions, get answers and calm some of their anxieties about college. Please feel free to share the flyer or the text. Here is the link where students can access the virtual hours starting in May: https://bit.ly/summerprogramsofficehours
Also attached is a Summer Programs Flyer. Students who applied to attend the Summer 2020 session at Mt. SAC are eligible to apply and be considered to take part in any of our summer programs- it’s not too late! For any student who participates in EITHER the STEP or Summer Bridge program, they will be eligible to apply and received Promise +Plus benefits!
If you have any questions, I am here to help!
Continue to stay safe, healthy, and (as of recently with this heat wave) hydrated! J

Every year, students visit our GUIDANCE OFFICE, write the name of the school or program they are attending after graduation on a whiteboard and take a Polaroid picture. The photos are hung on the SENIOR WALL for others to see. This year’s SENIOR WALL will be digital (https://bit.ly/2XVlGD9).
We invite seniors to send in a photo of themselves holding or wearing something showing what school they will be attending. As an alternative, students can send in their senior photo and mention their post-secondary plans in the email, including junior colleges, the military, trade schools, etc.
All photos need to be sent to their senior GLC. The SENIOR WALL can be seen at DBHS.ORG on the STUDENTS drop down menu. Photos sent in will also appear on our school's FACEBOOK account and @dbhsorg on Instagram.
