Principal's Memo - Week 37

DIAMOND BAR HIGH SCHOOL

WEEK 37 – Senior Week

Welcome to Week 37.

Graduation Information and Expectations:

Our Graduation is next week on May 30, 2019, at 7:00 pm.  We want to make sure our ceremony is enjoyed by all guests to our campus, and ask that we all consider items that would prevent others from seeing the ceremony. For instance, balloons are a wonderful graduation gift, but at a ceremony, a major distraction for others. Likewise, do not bring any noise makers, air horns, oversized posters, cut outs, or “big heads,” as it distracts from the graduates during the ceremony.  Items may be confiscated or will need to be returned to your car.

Please click HERE to access specific details about our commencement ceremony.

Our goal is to provide the best experience for all our graduates and their families. Thank you for your cooperation. Enjoy the ceremony!

Important Updates from our GLCs & the Guidance Office

SENIORS UPDATES:

  • Senior Week begins on Friday, May 24 and the Class of 2019has several fun and exciting events planned to celebrate the completion of their time at Diamond Bar High School. We want all of our graduating seniors to enjoy a safe and memorable week making treasured memories with their friends and families. The senior activities include the Senior Breakfast at Knott's Berry Farm and Grad Nite at Disney’s California Adventure. Like all senior activities, both of those events are school activities and all students present are subject to the same rules that are in effect at Diamond Bar High School. Students who did not sign up to participate through the school and “just happen” to be at Knott's Berry Farm or Disney’s California Adventure with their classmates are considered to be participating in school activities and are also subject to the school rules. Please behave accordingly.
  • We want to insure that Senior Student Accounts are cleared so there is no delay issuing your diploma and final transcript.  Student textbook/Library accounts must be cleared by the end of Senior Week.
  • Class of 2020 reminder…The senior parking lot is reserved for seniors only for the entire school year including next week during Final Exams.  Only eligible current seniors are allowed to park in our senior lot through May 30.

DBHS Campus Updates

  • Important announcement from our Yearbook Staff:

Dear Brahmas, during the review of the printed yearbooks, it was brought to our attention that there is a mistake concerning the DBHS Girls Soccer Team. Their pictures were mistakenly left out and in place we posted the boys soccer team pictures a second time. Mrs. Tenace and the yearbook staff sincerely apologize to the girls, coaches and parents of the DBHS Soccer teams.
