Important Updates from our GLCs and the Guidance Office

  • Senior Bulletin Click HERE!
  • Our GLC team encourages our students to work hard through this week as we head into the Thanksgiving vacation.  It would be wise for all students to take advantage of the upcoming time away from regular classes by “recharging” their batteries and enjoying quality time with family and friends, working on any school assignments which require their attention, and starting to prepare for upcoming semester one final exams.  The most important reminder is to please encourage your students to spend some quality time relaxing with family and friends starting over the break.
  • Upon our return to classes the week of December 2, the GLCs will be visiting English classes on Tuesday, December 3 to visit with their students.  Included in this visit will be a discussion about second semester schedules.
  • Lastly, for our seniors applying to the UC or CSU system campuses, the due date of the application is November 30. Please encourage your students to not wait until the last few days of the application period. Waiting for the last few days, results in unnecessary stress and the chance of website problems etc. Get those applications submitted well before you enjoy that Thanksgiving meal.

We are seeking your help to “Tell a Friend” about the opportunities to attend Walnut Valley Unified for the 2020/2021 school year. Walnut Valley will be hosting enrollment information meetings (Click HERE) beginning this month to share information with prospective parents on how to enroll based on District of Choice, Inter-district Transfers, Allen Bill, or Caregiver applications. Please share the attached flyer with the upcoming dates and locations of our meetings to any family interested in attending Walnut Valley. Current families enrolled in Walnut Valley do not need to attend these meetings.
