UPDATE: We Are The Math Madness Champions

Valley Christian's score of 93 yesterday was unbelievable. Literally. The test had 10 questions and 5 of them were saved for the final due to their extreme difficulty. In the six brackets, 12 teams took the same test. Each school had, at most, one student earn 10/10. Our top student, Ben Chen, is ranked #21 in the nation and earned 9/10. Valley Christian had 6 "perfect" scores.
The MAA (Mathematical Association of America), quickly looked into it and determined that Valley Christian had, in fact, cheated on the test.

So ... we are the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS !!!!!

MATH MADNESS ENDS! Wednesday, December 9, our Brahma Mathletes competed for the national Math Madness championship. After winning for eight straight weeks, they were defeated in the final round by students from Valley Christian High School in San Jose. This was the best performance our Brahmas have ever had. Congratulations to them and their coaches Jeff Brose, Dena Lordi, Jimmy Kuo and coach emeritus Howard Alcosser.
