Brahmas Receive Honors In The Dramatic Arts

It's been a great week in Theatre Arts. About a month ago, six of our students underwent testing with the London Academy of Musical and Dramatic Arts. This organization is responsible for the British equivalent of AP testing in England. In the US, being able to list LAMDA honors is highly regarded on college applications.
Examinations are conducted at three tiers: BRONZE, SILVER, and GOLD. Students at each tier can pass at three different levels. PASS, PASS WITH MERIT, and PASS WITH DISTINCTION. We had 4 students who tested at the Bronze tier and 2 who tested at the Silver level.
The examinations consist of performing two contrasting monologues and of answering interview questions applying knowledge of dramatic arts at different levels of depth and breadth depending on the tier. All our students passed with Merit or Distinction! Next year we are going for Gold.
The students will be receiving certificates and medals at the end of the year awards ceremony.
Please congratulate the following students on their LAMDA examination results:
Jonah Martinez (Sr.)-- Silver Level- Passed with Distinction
Austin Mooney (Sr.)-- Silver Level- Passed with Merit
Julianna King (Jr.)--- Bronze Level-- Passed with Distinction
Miranda Tejeda (Jr.)-- Bronze Level-- Passed with Distinction
Chloe Reyes (Jr.)-- Bronze Level-- Passed with Merit
Amanda Revilla (Jr.)-- Bronze Level-- Passed with Merit
