Our Scholarship Athletes

Diamond Bar High celebrated nine Brahma athletes at their annual Scholarship Luncheon.  During his welcome, Principal Denis Paul said this group of scholar athletes was the most the school had honored in recent history and that he was proud of each and every one of them.  Athletic Director JT Cameron introduced Varsity Coaches John Martin – Football; Becky Bevans – Volleyball; Neal Desai – Track, and Roberta Garcia – Softball who in turn introduced their athletes.  Congratulations to our graduating seniors who have earned athletic scholarships:

Collin Lockett (Football)
--Received a full scholarship to San Diego State University
--Inducted into the Brahma Hall of Fame
--Earned Defensive Player of the Year
--First Team All Sierra League Defensive Back

Katie Kelly (Volleyball)
--Received a full scholarship to the University of Maryland
---2007 & 2008 Team Captain

Hunter Warren (Football)
--Received a full scholarship to the University of San Diego
--Lettered three years
--Earned Co-Offensive Player of the Year
--Received Honorable Mention All San Gabriel Valley Quarterback

Megan Pulone (Volleyball)
--2008 & 2008 Team Captain
--Awarded first-year scholarship to Sacred Heart of Connecticut

Cassandra Momah (Volleyball)
--Received a full scholarship to UC Davis

Sam Rockwood (Track)
--Partial Scholarship to Brigham Young University
--2008 & 2009 team captain
--CIF Finalist
--Holds the school's record in the high jump

Erica Miller (Softball)
--Full scholarship to Iowa State
--She lettered four years
--Earned the Rookie of the Year award
--Made All Sierra League Honorable Mention
--Made All Sierra League
--Made Second Team All San Gabriel Valley
--Team Captain & MVP of the squad

Asha Prithviraj (Softball)
--Partial scholarship to the University of Hawaii, Hilo
--Lettered four years
--Made All Sierra League Honorable Mention
