What's Pathways?

The Pathways Communications Academy is one of nearly 500 California Partnership Academies. The Academy, celebrating its 22nd year, is a small learning community on Diamond Bar High School's campus. It follows the school-within-a-school model and offers college prep courses and common core curriculum infused with a technical education focus. The Academy curriculum incorporates cross-curricular courses, occupational preparation in the form of mentoring, educational field trips, guest speakers*, and project-based learning.

All interested freshmen should complete an application:

The deadline to submit an application for the 2020-2021 school year is Thursday, March 5, 2020. Since the Academy can only admit a small number of students annually, we ask each applicant to participate in an informal interview to determine program suitability. Interviews are scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2020.

Application is available at the bottom of this page.

Completed applications should be submitted to Mrs. Salas, Academy Coordinator, in room 351.

If you would like to learn more about this program, the Academy is hosting their Annual Freshmen Parent Informational on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in room 312, located in the lower 300 building.
